Final Portfolio

With this portfolio, I explored combining line art, created by hand on watercolor paper, with digital images in order to re-construct city and water scenes that carry fantastical elements as well as finished and unfinished portions. I am inspired by the sketches of Gabriel Campanario, who sketches for the Seattle Times as the "Seattle Sketcher". With his sketches of everyday places and occurrences around the Pacific Northwest, he creates beautifully coherent and precise sketches that still carry a sense of ease and wonder.
